Alexandria Waterfront FestivalMark your calendars! The Alexandria Chapter of the American Red Cross is sponsoring the Alexandria Waterfront Festival on June 14th and 15th. This weekend long event is full of entertainment for the entire family. Activities include arts and crafts, exhibits, ship tours, food, a craft tent, fireworks, a petting zoo, musical entertainment, amusement rides and canoe rides. Children are also able to take part in a treasure hunt. Proceeds from this event go directly to support the work of the Alexandria Chapter of the American Red Cross. The festival is located at the Oronoco Bay State Park in Old Town Alexandria.

Address: 701 North Lee Street, Alexandria, Virginia.
Entrances to the park are at Madison St., Pendleton St., and Wythe Street Plaza.

Hours: Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Admission: $15 per adult; one child is free per adult, $5 for children 2-12 years old; and children under 2 are free

Parking: Limited in the area. Free shuttles will run between the Eisenhower Avenue and King Street Metro stations
